About Us

Our team has been the President, COO, CFO and CRO of public and private companies (both large and small).  We have worked with large corporations, entrepreneurs, partnerships and family run companies.  We prefer to keep our clients out of bankruptcy but are experienced with Chapter 11 (and the reorganization process).  We are experienced and well connected.

ANTHONY (TONY) RUBEN, CPA- Managing Director                     tony@inflect-consult.com

Mr. Ruben has significant financial and operational experience, including serving as the CFO, COO and President of public and private companies, as the Managing Director of a management consulting firm and merchant bank and as an investment banker.  Mr. Ruben has completed more than 40 transactions worth more than $2 billion, including successful debt and equity offerings as well as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, IPO’s and secondary offerings and has renegotiated over $100 million of loans, guarantees and vendor payables. 

 Mr. Ruben has materially improved profitability and cash flow, enhanced operational performance, redefined/refocused organizational short and long-term strategy, restructured workforces and balance sheets and raised debt and equity capital for technology, environmental remediation, real estate (development and sales), hospitality (hotel and timeshare), retail, education (for profit and not-for-profit), health care, government regulated and e-commerce companies. 


Among his recent accomplishments, Mr. Ruben successfully led the financial recapitalization, and materially increased operating performance and cash flow for a diversified real estate developer/resort operator, improved the business processes and cash flow for an environmental remediation company, helped develop and support the valuation of a provider of health care services and validate the viability of and develop the recapitalization plan for a provider of consumer cable, internet and telephony services.


A
CPA, Mr. Ruben, received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois and an MBA in Finance and Corporate Strategy from the University of Michigan.


Mr. Ruben serves as an advisory board member for multiple growth-oriented firms in central Florida, is on the Board of Directors of UCP of Central Florida and serves as the Treasurer of The Jewish Pavilion.

BRETT D. FADELEY                                                                                      

Mr. Fadeley founded the first turnaround management organization in Orlando. He is a recognized expert in turnaround management, financial management and complex commercial negotiations. His professional experience includes serving as an interim President, member of the Board of Directors and/or interim Chief Financial Officer for numerous companies. Mr. Fadeley has a diversified background working with manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and service companies in many different industries. He has successful and proven leadership experience in providing turnaround management and profit improvement services. He is skilled in bankruptcy, creditor strategic planning, recapitalization plans, problem loan negotiations, financial due diligence, crisis management, vendor restructuring, expert witness consulting and taxing authority negotiations.

He has over ten years of experience working specifically with companies in distress. Mr. Fadeley also has fifteen years of experience in commercial banking with large super-regional banks. He served as a Senior Vice President of Corporate Banking and Regional Manager of Special Assets (problem loan department).

As a graduate from Southwestern University School of Law, Mr. Fadeley earned a Juris Doctor Degree in 1980. He is a recipient of the American Juris Prudence Award. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree with honors from Hartwick College in 1977. In 1985, he completed advanced commercial lending at the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Banking. He is published in Who’s Who in Finance and Industry. He is also published in the Orlando Business Journal for an article entitled, “Firms With Problem Loans Should Adapt To Bank Rules”. Mr. Fadeley is a licensed mortgage broker and has taught Business Law as an adjunct faculty member for Nova University. He is a former Chapter Chairman of the March of Dimes. Mr. Fadeley is an active member of the Central Florida Bankruptcy Law Association and the Turnaround Management Association in Florida and New York City.

 

 

 

Robert M (Bob) Albert

Mr. Albert has an extensive background in aerospace / US Government  contracting in the accounting – finance environment for both small and large contractors; serving in various roles as Sr. Manager – Finance, Director – Finance and CFO - American operations of an international corporation.  Mr. Albert also has work experience in Europe and the Middle East.

Mr. Albert has assisted government contractors as a consultant in compliance requirements, proposals, budget development, audits, cash flow and cost control.  Additionally, the development of Strategic & Operation Planning (three – five years) has been completed to assist the development and growth of the organization.  Mr. Albert has been involved as a member and leader of two Deltek Costpoint ERP implementations.


Mr. Albert recently completed an assignment working for the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (KSA) assisting the Procurement Group initiate procedures for proposal development and evaluation. 

Mr. Albert has a BS degree in Business – Accounting from West Virginia Wesleyan College and a MSM degree from the Crummer School of Business, Rollins College, plus post graduate courses in Systems Management & Engineering.  Also Mr. Albert is a Certified Professional Consultant.

Ken Countess

Ken Countess has extensive experience providing strategic vision and measurable results for clients.  With expertise in marketing, sales support and culture-shifting employee communications programs, Mr. Countess’s broad experience encompasses communications strategy, consumer and industrial marketing, public/media relations, event planning, corporate communications, and crisis/issues management.

Mr. Countess operated a consultancy for nine years and held recent positions such as Global Channel Marketing Leader at Datamax-O’Neil and as a partner at Ascend Marketing. He also held several senior level management positions at several Fortune 100 companies and worked as a consultant to entrepreneurial startups. 


Among Mr. Countess’s accomplishments are providing award-winning marketing leadership for the fastest growing divisions of industry leaders such as Caremark, Marriott and Motorola. Over his 25-year career, he has been responsible for numerous successful marketing initiatives, including a 700% increase in product awareness for the wireless messaging industry, a 300% increase in sales of telecommunications equipment, and a 300% increase in online sales for a travel company.


Mr. Countess has served on The Conference Board's Council on Corporate Communication Strategy, the Executive Committee of the Motorola Public Relations Council, and the Board of Directors, Texas Association of Business (Texas State Chamber of Commerce), along with several other organizations.
